About Us
Destiny Center for Recovery is a holistic, mental health and drug and alcohol treatment program that provides its participants with a unique and effective recovery experience. We address the whole person, spiritually, mentally, physically, financially, and socially. While the program recognizes addiction as a diabolical disease, it provides a solution and a clear and concise road map for overcoming it in every area of life. This and the daily maintenance of each participant is accomplished through an approach that introduces the concept of a Higher Power, integrates evidence-based clinical practices which include group and individual counseling sessions, our Peer To Peer therapy along with the accepted 12 steps of AA, and our weekly Engagement Meetings.
Located in the heart of Columbus, Ohio, Destiny Center for Recovery has served its community for over 25 years. It began its mission with two referred clients, subsidized by a local ministry. Since then, the program has managed to work with countless individuals and is on track for CARF accreditation and state licensing to offer IOP (Intensive Out Patient) and PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program) treatment. The premise of each component of our program is to provide guidance on how to live life to the fullest without the need for drugs and alcohol. As one can imagine, that’s not always easy when using has become a way of life. Nevertheless, the way that Destiny Center for Recovery accomplishes this is through our unique and comprehensive process which brings together Spiritual, Clinical and Peer to Peer therapy. It is through this process that recovery is experienced and has been a winning combination that continues to create many success stories.
